From Braithwaite, take the road to 'Newlands Valley'. There is limited parking along this route and the road is narrow and busy. It is therefore best to park at Uzzicar Car Park which is just after the Barrow scree Slopes. Walk the further stretch. You will pass Stoneycroft, continue.

When you reach Stoneycroft Bridge, take the footpath on the left side of the stream, if you follow our 'where to look' guide, you should come back along the opposite side of the stream, following the old mine track.

Follow the footpath all the way to the Summit of Causey Pike, and examine the scree slopes and outcrops along the way.
